Why I’m Starting This Journey

As I reflect on where I am today, I realize I’ve reached my heaviest weight—155 lbs—aside from when I was pregnant with my kids. I know part of it may be due to premenopausal changes, but no matter the reason, I don’t feel comfortable in my own skin right now. My ideal weight, where I’ve always felt most confident and healthy, is 130 lbs.

In 2025, I’m committing to making a change. My goal is simple yet powerful: to lose 25 lbs and reclaim the energy and vitality I know I’m capable of. This isn’t just about a number on the scale—it’s about how I feel, physically and emotionally.

My Motivation

There are a few key reasons why I’m embarking on this journey:

  1. Health First: I want to be healthy, not just now but well into my later years. One of my biggest dreams is to travel the world, and I want to do so without being limited by sickness or immobility.

  2. For My Family: As I grow older, I don’t want to be a burden to my kids. Taking care of myself today is a gift I’m giving to them for the future.

  3. Confidence and Comfort: I want to feel comfortable in my body again, both for my daily life and for the adventures I plan to embark on.
